Fans on Twitter reacted after Pakistan National Cricket Team batter Hasan Nawaz slammed a brutal century to take his team home in the third T20I against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The match between the teams took place at Eden Park in Auckland on Friday (21st March).

Pakistan made a solid comeback in the five-match T20I series after losing the first two games. The Salman Agha-led side dominated the third game and ensured that they stayed alive in the series. Opting to bowl, they didn't have a great outing.

New Zealand post total of 204 runs

New Zealand batter Mark Chapman played a brilliant innings of 94 runs, while a finish by Michael Bracewell (31*) powered them to a total of 204 runs. Haris Rauf was the pick of the bowlers with his three wickets while Shaheen Afridi and Abbas Afridi bagged two scalps.

In this chase, it was sheer dominance by the Pakistan team. Mohammad Haris (41) took his team off to a flying start with the bat and, along with Hasan Nawaz, added 71 runs for the opening partnership. But, once the keeper-batter was back in the hut, Nawaz stole the limelight

Hasan Nawaz started a bit slow, but it didn't take him long to showcase his skills at the international level. The right-hander exhibited brutal power-hitting skills and once he was in, he didn't look back, ensuring that he takes his team home in the third game.

Hasan Nawaz slammed New Zealand bowlers all over the park. He first slammed a brilliant half-century and, after that, raced away to his ton. The right-hander brought up his century in just 44 balls at a time when it mattered most for Pakistan in the ongoing series.

Hasan Nawaz played an unbeaten innings of 105 runs off 45 balls. The opening batter batted with a strike rate of over 233 and also hit 10 fours and 7 sixes during his stay at the crease. He was well supported by skipper Salman Agha, who slammed an unbeaten 51 runs.

The duo added 133 runs off just 61 balls for the second wicket. Based on their stellar innings, Pakistan chased the massive target of 205 runs with 9 wickets in hand and 4 overs to spare. The series now is at 2-1 with two more games to go.
