Former Indian pace bowling all-rounder Irfan Pathan has showered praise on former Indian captain Virat Kohli and shared a special message for him ahead of his 100th Test match.
Star batsman Virat Kohli will be playing his 100th Test match in the first Test match of the two-match Test series against the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team, which is all set to begin at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh, from Friday, March 4.
He is all set to become the 12th most capped Indian Test player when the Rohit Sharma-led side lock horns with Dimuth Karunaratne-led Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan posted a special message for batting maestro Virat Kohli on his official Instagram handle ahead of Kohli’s 100th game in the purest format of the game.
“Test cricket was limping & that’s when it found a magical physio in Virat Kohli. He came, He conquered & He made everyone love test cricket all over again! Congratulations @virat.kohli on your remarkable achievement. 💯 #test,” he wrote.

It is something Virat Kohli can be proud of – Rahul Dravid on Kohli playing the 100th Test
Legendary batsman Rahul Dravid, who is currently India’s head coach, in a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India ahead of Kohli’s 100th Test, had said that playing 100 Tests is a huge achievement and Kohli should be proud of it.
“It is not easy to play 100 Test matches. Test cricket is not easy. To be able to play one is great, to be able to play 100 is a fantastic achievement. It is something Virat Kohli can be proud of,” said Dravid.
Dravid further praised Kohli for his remarkable journey as a player and as a captain in Test cricket.
“When he played his first Test match I was batting alongside him. It has been incredible to see how he has grown over the last 10 years or so.
“The way he has grown as a cricketer and a person. He has carried this team for a long time, been the captain for the last five or six years of the last 10 years he has played in.
“He has always delivered, averages over 50 in 100 Test matches. It is a great achievement for one of India’s greatest players. Just looking at his fitness and where he is, he has a lot more to go and I am sure it is not something that he will be satisfied with.”
