'He told me to sleep with him': Sanjay Bangar's child Anaya Bangar exposes veteran cricketer's disgusting act

Former India cricketer and coach Sanjay Bangar's child, Anaya, talked about her journey of hormonal replacement therapy and gender-affirming surgery. She revealed shocking incidents and the difficult criticism that she faced from the people.

Sanjay Bangar's child, Anaya, formerly known as Aryan, has been in the news for the last few months. This is because of the hormonal replacement therapy and gender-affirming surgery that she underwent. Anaya, who is an athlete and played age-group cricket, also revealed the difficulties that she faced while playing.

Anaya started playing cricket at the age of 12

She started playing cricket at the age of 12, and he played at the U-14 level with some of the famous Indian cricketers. However, after that, she changed her gender and then completely moved away from Cricket following the guidelines of the ICC, which don't allow transformed women to play the game.

After that, she shifted to the United Kingdom and since then she has been living there. She also revealed how her father, Sanjay Bangar, told her to leave cricket.

The cricket world is filled with insecurity and toxic masculinity - Anaya

In an interview with Lallantop, she talked about how she faced harassment after her surgery. She recalled how some of the well-known cricketers used to trouble her. She added that the cricket world is filled with insecurity and toxic masculinity.

"There has been support and there have been some harassment as well...There have been a few cricketers who randomly sent me nude pictures of them," she said.

"I played with some well-known cricketers now like Musheer Khan, Sarfaraz Khan, Yashasvi Jaiswal. I had to maintain secrecy about myself because Dad is a well-known figure. The cricket world is filled with insecurity and toxic masculinity."

Bangar talked about how people used to criticise her openly and then used to ask for her pictures. She also revealed how one of the veteran cricketers asked her to sleep with him in the car. While elaborating on the same, she said:

"The person used to give gaalis in front of everybody. The same person then used to come and sit beside me and ask for my photos. There was another instance when I was in India I told a puraane (veteran) cricketer about my situation. He told me let's go in the car, I want to sleep with you".

Anaya further revealed that when she was eight, she realised that she wanted to be a girl. Speaking further on the same, she said:

"For me it was when I was eight or nine years old, I used to pick clothes from my mom's cupboard and wear them. Then, I used to look into the mirror and say, 'I am a girl. I want to be a girl'."
