South African skipper Temba Bavuma was asked about his team's plans for the ODIs since India will play with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. He admits to a change in energy dynamics as the two living legends star in the Indian batting order.
India, the side that lost the Test series, has been much talked about, but the Proteas would actually be high on confidence after their whitewash. Temba Bavuma extended his record of winning in Test cricket, as he has won 11 of his 12 matches.

South African captain Temba Bavuma said that it will be exciting to witness the two Indian stars back in the Indian lineup, as the two stalwarts will bring in a different kind of energy on the field.
“I think it's exciting, right? It's exciting for the locals, having the two living legends come back and play on Indian soil for a while,” said the South African skipper, Temba Bavuma, as everyone's focus will be on them.
“So it's exciting for us to be a part of a different type of energy when those two big guys are around. So it's something that we'll be looking forward to,” said Bavuma in a video posted by Star Sports on their Instagram account on Saturday.
“From a captaincy point of view, I don't think much really changes for my side," Temba on Proteas strategies against the veterans
Temba Bavuma does not have such a promising record in the longer format of white-ball cricket, as he was questioned about the special strategies for the legendary batting pair.
Asked about the plans South Africa will have for getting the better of the veteran batting duo, Bavuma said, “I think like any other players, we will do our preparation around them, come up with whatever tactics that we come up with. But we know that the energy is going to be a little bit different, but it's an exciting one.”
“From a captaincy point of view, I don't think much really changes for my side. I think you obviously want to lead with the bat, and then you want to lead the guys out there tactically on the field. So, nothing really, I don't think much really changes,” he added.

Shubman Gill was named the captain of the Indian team, replacing Rohit Sharma, the two-time ICC title-winning skipper. However, he has been ruled out of the series against South Africa due to an injury.
KL Rahul was named the new captain of the side, replacing Gill for this series, and the two veterans will be playing under his leadership for the first time. KL Rahul has once played under both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's leadership.
