Virat Kohli would be having mixed feelings as his 1st T20I match against Australia was a forgettable one. The star right-handed batter had scored 2 runs out of 7 balls on a flat deck where there was hardly anything for the bowlers. The batter would be dejected and would be aware that he needs to work hard to dominate against Australia.

The Men in Blue would also be worried about the form of Rohit Sharma where he is unable to make the most of a start. The two giants of the Indian Cricket Team are not performing which is not at all a good sign. At the same time, the Management would be happy that the youngsters are stepping in and the team is not dependent on individuals.

Jacques Kallis on Virat Kohli

Jacques Kallis who currently is playing Legends League Cricket was asked about India. “Every cricketer goes through a rough patch. It’s very normal. What’s important is you peak at the right time and I’m certain Virat Kohli realises what he needs to do for his team in Australia and he will be working upon that,”  said Kallis.

The Rise of KL Rahul

KL Rahul has silenced all the critics who were questioning his ability by notching up a half-century. The right-handed batter was looking more than confident in his approach. The skipper Rohit Sharma & Head Coach Rahul Dravid would be relieved as finally KL Rahul broke all the shackles and produced a scintillating knock.

All the talk of Virat opening would be put to an end. We have seen that Indian batters aren’t afraid of any bowler as their fearless approach has been quite fruitful. The Men in Blue should not get buoyed by playing too many aggressive shots as this approach has ‘n’ chances of getting backfired. The next encounter against Australia on 23d September would be a fascinating one as both the teams aren’t ready to throw out the towel.
