Travis Head said that Mohammed Siraj took the initiative to settle their differences, adding that their earlier incident was a misunderstanding.
Head played a crucial role in Australia's first innings in Adelaide, scoring 140 runs off 141 balls. However, his altercation with Siraj stole the spotlight on Day 2. The heated exchange occurred after Siraj dismissed Head. Siraj gave Head an animated send-off, which provoked a verbal response from the batter.

During the press conference, the left-handed batter expressed disappointment over the Indian fast bowler's behavior following his dismissal. Before the third day began, Siraj defended his actions, accusing Head of lying about the incident. Siraj stated that he had only responded to abuse directed at him.
Head and Siraj appeared to put their altercation behind them. When Siraj came out to bat, Head, who was positioned at short leg, engaged in a friendly chat to clarify his comments. It is worth mentioning that Head later took the catch of Siraj to end India's second innings of the match in Adelaide.
