You can’t play every game with the same mindset: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi
When asked about his fearless batting approach, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi explained that if he feels that he can hit a ball, then it doesn't matter whether it's the first or the second ball of the innings.
He said, "Sir, I’m not drinking milk right now. But yes, I just try to back my game. If I feel that the first ball is in my zone and I can hit it, then I go all-out and try to play that way."
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi also agreed to the fact that this season of the IPL, especially those two playoff games, has made him learn the importance of adjusting to difficult situations.
"This season, I learned how to play in pressure situations and how to change my game according to the circumstances. You can’t play every game with the same mindset. You have to read the situation of the game and play according to what the team requires. I learned a lot about that, especially in the playoff games," he added.
I need to avoid injuries: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi eyes fitness levels, aiming for longetivity
The Rajasthan Royals' opening batter has some massive concerns with his fitness despite his young age. Though he has never struggled on the field while batting, he has struggled during fielding for the side. Yet Sooryavanshi aims at high fitness standards to elevate his game to the next level.
"I’ll have to focus a lot on that because I want to play for a long time. I need to avoid injuries and things like that, so I’ll have to work on my fitness and focus even more going forward," said the RR youngster.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi added much on the amazing dressing room experience at the Rajasthan Royals. He said, "Yes, sir, everyone is very supportive, and everyone there backs me. All the senior players and the support staff back me a lot, and I get to learn so much because these players have performed at a very high level. So it’s a really good environment to be in."
