BCCI unveiled New Jersey for ICC T20 World Cup and it has started making headlines. The fans are delighted as the jersey is a combination of light & dark blue colours. A billion people would be hoping that new jersey sparks a change in the fortunes as the Asia Cup 2022 was a below-par one.

Captain Rohit Sharma would be aware that there is not much time left for experimentation. The team needs to find the best combination as soon as possible otherwise the same performance of the 2021 T20 World Cup Edition would be on the cards. The batting positions of the players need to be fixed as the musical chairs should be stopped as it is not sustainable in a marquee event.

Indian Cricket Team’s wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant posted a message on his social media handle. “How is our new jersey? I loved it,” Pant said in social media post.

Middle Order Conundrum for Management

We all have seen that Suryakumar Yadav has the tendency to run away with the game by playing funky shots. The batter was used as an opener in the West Indies tour and he did wonders. The team should not try to complicate things by promoting ahead of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul even if the situation demands as the balance of the team gets disturbed.

Suryakumar needs to develop the waiting game because when the team loses a couple of wickets then going bang-bang won’t be a feasible option.

Recently Indian veteran batter Wasim Jaffer made a point that Rishabh Pant should be used as an opener in the T20 World Cup 2022 as the experienced campaigner believes that is Pant’s best batting position.

The management should keep one thing in their mind that experiments are done when the team has finalized its best playing 11 not when there is uncertainty.
