The ICC has announced 20 of the world’s best match officials for the T20 Worldcup 2021 round one and the Super 12 stages out of which four were match referees. Also, there will be neutral umpires for every match which is a big part of the tournament. The T20 World cup 2021 is scheduled to start on October 17 and ends by November 14.
Most of the teams have announced their squad for the T20 Worldcup 2021 and the preparations have started already through the IPL in UAE. The tournament will be held after a long gap of five years with West Indies starting as the defending champions.
Adam Griffith Glad To Welcome Best T20 Officials
Adam Griffith, the ICC Senior Manager was very happy to call up some of the world’s best T20 officials which comprised 16 umpires and four-match referees. He added that it was important to add neutral umpires and wished them all success for the big tournament of T20 World cup 2021

Umpires: Chris Brown, Aleem Dar, Kumar Dharmasena, Marais Erasmus, Chris Gaffaney, Michael Gough, Adrian Holdstock, Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough, Nitin Menon, Ahsan Raza, Paul Reiffel, Langton Rusere, Rod Tucker, Joel Wilson, Paul Wilson.
Kumar Dharmasena will be among the umpires for the first qualifier between Oman and Papua New Guinea while the other umpires have been selected for various venues.
