After a derogatory ‘wear bangles’ jab at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), former cricketer Tanveer Ahmed delivered yet another scathing attack on India regarding their stance on traveling to Pakistan for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

In a fiery response to the BCCI’s decision not to send the Indian cricket team to Pakistan for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Tanveer Ahmed has sparked outrage with a disrespectful post for India on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

In his controversial remarks, the former Pakistan pacer said that BCCI and India are not trustworthy, so he should trust a donkey, but not them. This outburst came after the BCCI announced that India would not be traveling to Pakistan for the upcoming mega event, citing security concerns and political tensions between the two countries.

Tumhara BCCI ghatiya aur top ka doghla cricket board hain: Tanveer Ahmed

Tanveer Ahmed posted on X: Bhai kuch log india say mujhe galiya dey rahe ha tou bhai jo bolna ha boltey raho tumhara BCCI ghatiya, ganda, jhoota or top ka doghla cricket board ha tum log par trust karney say behtar ha main kisi donkey par trust karlon ga. (Bhai, some people from India are abusing me, but let them say whatever they want. Your BCCI is cheap, filthy, dishonest, and the top-notch double-faced cricket board, so it's better for me to trust a donkey than to trust you people and your board).”

As tensions between the BCCI and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) remain high, Tanveer Ahmed’s latest outburst certainly added fuel to an already blazing fire and sparked controversy on social media, with both Indian and Pakistani cricket fans reacting to the explosive comments.

Pakistan likely to pull out of Champions Trophy 2025 if ICC shifts the venue

Meanwhile, India's decision not to travel to Pakistan for the 8-team mega event could lead to a strong reaction from the Pakistan government. Reports revealed that the Pakistani government may ask the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to consider withdrawing from the tournament entirely.

Actually, the International Cricket Council (ICC) informed the PCB of India's stance, and if they decide to move the entire tournament out of Pakistan, it may result in the Men in Green pulling out of the event to be held in February-March next year.

Even the PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi has made it clear that Pakistan will not accept a hybrid model for the upcoming prestigious event. The PCB said that Pakistan has already traveled to India for recent global events, and now it's their turn to show some respect.
