Former Indian cricketer Murali Vijay made his choices on some of the iconic moments ahead of the India vs Pakistan clash in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 clash between the teams. The match between the teams will take place on 23rd February at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.

First up, Murali Vijay was asked to pick between Sachin Tendulkar's six against Shoaib Akhtar during the 2003 World Cup and Virat Kohli's six against Haris Rauf during the T20 World Cup 2022. The former Indian opener went with Sachin's six and said that he was a youngster when he watched that.

Virat Kohli's six against Haris Rauf has been one of the most talked about shots in the cricketing history

This comes as a big surprise because Virat Kohli's six against Haris Rauf has been one of the most talked about shots in the cricketing history. Even ICC rated it highly as the batter slammed one of the most beautiful six in the history of the game.

Murali Vijay was then asked to choose between Wasim Akram's swing and Jasprit Bumrah's yorker. He found it difficult to answer as, according to him, both are legends, but he ended up choosing the current India National Cricket Team fast bowler.

Next up, he was given the choice between Waqar Younis' toe crusher and Zaheer Khan's reverse swing. He didn't take much time and went with the second option before he picked Yuvraj Singh's six sixes in T20Is over Shahid Afridi's century in just 37 balls.

Murali Vijay was then given the tough question of picking one between Saqlain Mushtaq's mystery ball and Harbhajan Singh's doosra. He took his time to answer and ended up picking a former India National Cricket Team player's special delivery.

Vijay then ignored Anil Kumble's ten-wicket in an innings and instead went with Imran Khan's World Cup-winning spell in 1992. He also went on to pick Joginder Sharma's 2007 T20 World Cup winning over ahead of Javed Miandad's last ball six in 1996, saying Sharma's over brought India the World Cup after a long.

In the end, he was asked to pick one between India and Pakistan ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The former India batter immediately went with his team, backing them to win the clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be beginning on 19th February, and the India National Cricket Team will be opening their campaign against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The match between the teams is slated to take place on Thursday (20th February).
