India National Cricket Team keeper-batter Rishabh Pant has been declared fit ahead of the team's first game against Bangladesh in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. As per the report in RevSportz, it is learned that the left-hander looked in discomfort but there aren't any concerns.

India National Cricket Team faced a massive injury scare on the first day of their training in Dubai for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Keeper-batter Rishabh Pant coped a serious blow on his knee and was down on the ground, looking in immense pain.

Pant, who was standing in front of the nets, was hit hard on the left knee by a shot from Hardik Pandya. The keeper-batter was then seen getting medical attention, and even Pandya left the nets and went straight to check on his teammate. This made many worry as, by the looks of the all-rounder, the blow looked serious.

The physios were also seen continuously putting ice-pack on Pant's left knee. After that, the keeper-batter was seen with heavy strapping but batted in the nets in what was a big positive for India ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 game against Bangladesh.

He was in a bit of discomfort last night, there are no concerns now - Report on Rishabh Pant

The report in RevSportz, however, confirmed that Rishabh Pant is fine. It has been revealed that after batting in nets, he faced discomfort, but there weren't any major concerns. The report read:

"Rishabh Pant absolutely fine. The wicketkeeper-batsman took a blow on his left knee during India's practice session yesterday. Although he did his batting at the nets, he was in a bit of discomfort last night. There are no concerns now. India will train in the evening today."

Pant is seen as the second-choice keeper-batter by the team management for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Head coach Gautam Gambhir, after the recently concluded ODI series against England, confirmed that they are currently looking at KL Rahul as a first-choice wicketkeeper, and Pant will have to wait.

Rishabh Pant didn't get an opportunity to play in the ODI series against England

Pant didn't get an opportunity to play in the ODI series against England National Cricket Team. There were reports that selectors are in favor of him being the first-choice keeper, but head coach Gautam Gambhir wants to back KL Rahul, who has been performing the role exceptionally well.

Pant, if given the opportunity, will be a key factor for his team in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The keeper-batter has been one of the biggest match-winners for the team and has always thrived under pressure. It remains to be seen if he gets any game in the eight-nation tournament. India will be opening their campaign in the tournament against Bangladesh on 20th February.
