ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Semi-finals Schedule Confirmed

The schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semi-finals has been confirmed following the conclusion of the match between the India National Cricket Team and the New Zealand National Cricket Team.
The 12th and final match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 group stage was played between the Black Caps and the Men In Blue at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, March 2.

India and New Zealand qualified from Group A
In Group A of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the hosts Pakistan National Cricket Team were joined by the India National Cricket Team, the New Zealand National Cricket Team, and the Bangladesh National Cricket Team.
The Black Caps and Men In Blue played superior cricket than Bangladesh and Pakistan and easily made it to the semi-finals of the competition.
New Zealand beat the Tigers by 5 wickets and hosts Pakistan by 60 runs in their first two matches to seal a place in the knockouts. India also registered comprehensive wins over Bangladesh and Pakistan by 6 wickets.
Notably, hosts Pakistan were winless in the competition as their last match against Bangladesh was washed out, and they crashed out of the competition with one point under their belt.
Meanwhile, in the last group stage match of the ICC Champions Trophy, India beat New Zealand by 44 runs to finish on a high.
South Africa and Australia qualified from Group B
Group B of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 consisted of the South Africa National Cricket Team, Australia National Cricket Team, Afghanistan National Cricket Team, and England National Cricket Team.
Jos Buttler-led England were the worst performers in this group as they lost all their matches and finished the competition winless. They lost by 5 wickets against Australia, by 8 runs against Afghanistan, and by 7 wickets against South Africa. Jos Buttler also quit captaincy following the disastrous run of the English team in the competition.
The underdogs, Afghanistan, finished third on the points table as they lost one match by 107 runs against South Africa, won against England by 8 runs, and in their last match against Australia got washed out.
South Africa and Australia finished at the No.1 and No.2 positions in the standings. However, there was a difference in their points and Net Run Rate. The Proteas finished with a Net Run Rate of 2.395 and 5 points, while the Aussies finished with 4 points and a Net Run Rate of 0.475.
South Africa beat Afghanistan by 107 runs and England by 7 wickets and their crucial match against Australia was washed out due to continuous rain. On the other hand, the Aussies registered a stunning 5-wicket victory against the Three Lions while pulling off the highest run-chase in the history of ICC ODI events and their next two matches were washed out.
