ICC ODI Super League 2020-23 or ICC Cricket World Cup Super League is an ongoing tournament that will decide the participants of ICC ODI World Cup 2023. A total of 13 teams are part of the tournament. Out of these, 8 teams will qualify for ODI World Cup 2023.

During ODI Super League, each team will play three-match ODI series with the other 8 teams out of 12. Hence, each team will play 4 home series and 4 away series. Hence, there will be an equal home advantage for every team.

Since India will host ODI World Cup 2023, they have already qualified for the tournament. After the completion of the ODI Super League, the top 7 teams and India will qualify for ODI World Cup 2023. The bottom 5 teams will participate in World Cup Qualifier.

In the World Cup Qualifier, there will be 10 teams. There will be 5 teams from ODI Super League, 3 teams from ODI Super League 2 and 2 teams from Challenge league. The top 2 teams in World Cup Qualifier will join the 8 qualified teams in ODI World Cup 2023.

There are 13 teams part of ODI Super League 2021-23. They are Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Netherlands.

After the completion of the ODI Super League, the top 8 teams on the points table will directly qualify for ODI World Cup 2023. The host India is already qualified for the tournament. The 7 other top teams in the points table will qualify for the tournament.

During ODI Super League, each team will play 4 home ODI series and 4 away ODI series with the other 8 teams. Each ODI series will consist of 3 games each. Hence, each team will play the ODI series against 8 other teams and will skip 4 teams from the group.

Many upcoming bilateral ODI series are part of the tournament. The tournament started with the England vs Ireland ODI series back in 2020. While some of the ODI series have already taken place, some other ODI series will be played in future. There are also some ODI series that was postponed in the past. Below we look at some future ODI series set to take place under ODI Super League.

Every team is set to play 24 ODI games during ODI Super League 2020-23. For each victory, a team earns 10 points. Both teams are given 5 points each for a game with no result. England currently tops the points table while Bangladesh holds the 2nd spot.
