The Men in Blue would be keen to make a mark that they are not a finished product after losing ICC WTC 2021-23 final against Australia. India is set to play a white ball leg against West Indies in July. A billion people would be hoping that the duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav are back in action. Yuzvendra Chahal had a productive IPL 2023.

Kuldeep Yadav has been in & out of the Test team despite performing exceptionally well. He played the last test match against Bangladesh and since then can be seen warming the benches as the management has shown faith in Axar Patel due to his crisp strokeplay.

It would be interesting to see whether Hardik Pandya leads the side in the T20I format as Rohit Sharma had said in one of his interviews that he hasn’t given up on the shortest format.

We share a great bond- Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal was having an interaction with Crictracker and said that he & Kuldeep Yadav are like brothers. Yuzvendra Chahal said that which player doesn’t want to represent India in World Cup 2023 and made a statement that management has the reins of picking him & Kuldeep Yadav in the playing 11.

“(On their bonding) We are like brothers. Be it on the field or off the field, we share a great bond. We never see each other as professionals, our relationship has always been like brothers,” said Yuzvendra Chahal.

“We will give our best, because who does not want to represent India on a platform like the World Cup? We will work hard definitely, but eventually, it is in the hands of the management (laughs),” he added.

Kuldeep Yadav is a great bowler- Yuzvendra Chahal

Chahal heaped praise on the left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav and pointed out that the Men in Blue needs to prepare well for the ODI WC 2023 and the main focus is on fitness and having the plans set.

“It has been a great partnership with Kuldeep, he is a great bowler. The ODI World Cup is a big tournament for us and we want to prepare well for it,” said Yuzvendra Chahal.

“The aim is to focus on fitness and have our plans set. We want to execute the same in the coming series and hopefully, we will be prepared when the mega event is here,” he added.
