ICC World Test Championship 2025 final dates announced

The final of the ICC World Test Championship 2025 is all set to take place at the home of cricket, Lord's Cricket Ground in London. The summit clash of the Test tournament will be played from 11th to 15th June with 16th being the reserve day.
International Cricket Council announced the dates officially on Tuesday (3rd September). This will be the first time that final of the ICC World Test Championship Final will be played at the Lord's Cricket Ground in London, with the first two editions being played at The Oval in 2021 and 2023, which were won by New Zealand and Australia, respectively.
The final of the ICC World Test Championship will be played between two teams who will be stationed at the top of the points table. Currently, the India National Cricket Team are sitting at the top of the table while the Australia National Cricket Team are second on the table of the ICC World Test Championship 2025.
Along with India and Australia, New Zealand (third), England (fourth), Sri Lanka (fifth), South Africa (sixth), and Bangladesh (seventh) are in contention for a place in the final of the ICC Test Championship 2025, which will be played at the Lord's Cricket Ground and will be a one-off decider. With a lot of Tests around the corner, it remains to be seen who will be making the spot for the final.
ICC CEO Geoff Allardice, while announcing the dates of the ICC Test Championship Final, said that the event has become one of the most anticipated games in cricket. He, while highlighting the importance of Test cricket, urged fans to attend the game. He explained:
"The ICC World Test Championship Final has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in the cricketing calendar and we are pleased to announce the dates for the 2025 edition.
"It's a testament to the enduring appeal of Test cricket, which continues to captivate fans around the world. Tickets will be in high demand so I would encourage fans to register their interest now to ensure they are in with a chance of attending the Ultimate Test next year."
