The ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Points Table has been updated after the third and final Test match between Pakistan and England. However, this victory didn't help Pakistan, led by Shan Masood, to be in the race for the World Test Championship 2025 final, set to be played at Lord's next year.

The Men in Green secured the first bilateral Test series victory at home since beating South Africa in February 2021. The spin duo of Nauman Ali and Sajid Ali played a crucial role with the ball in Pakistan's win in the last two games. Nauman and Sajid picked up the majority of the wickets on turning tracks.

England won the toss and chose to bat first in the Test match. They managed to score 267 runs with the help of James Smith's counter-attacking knock of 89 runs. In response, Pakistan had a shaky start, but Saud Shakeel played a crucial role in helping Pakistan to take a crucial 77-run first innings lead.

The Three Lions were bundled out for 112 in their second innings of the match. They set a 36-run target for Pakistan in the final innings. The home team comfortably chased down the target in just 3.1 overs. Saud Shakeel was named "Player of the Match" for his batting performance in the first innings.
