There was a good amount of turn in the pitch: Sajid Khan
Sajid Khan said at the post-match presentation: “Credit to Aaqib Javed bhai and the management. Man of the Match should be Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel for the knocks in the first innings, and also Shan Masood in the second. There was a good amount of turn in the pitch. Spoke to our bowling coach after the first innings—I conceded runs later in the spell. Slowed the pace down further in the second innings and controlled runs better.”
Speaking about the Multan Test, Pakistan posted 230 runs on the board on the back of brilliant fifties from Mohammad Rizwan (71) and Saud Shakeel (84) in the first innings. And then the hosts bowled out the West Indies for a mere 137 runs, with Jomel Warrican being the top scorer with 31* runs.
