The UAE’s new International League T20 (ILT20) will begin on January 13 in Dubai, with the final scheduled for February 12.

The International League T20 will feature 34 games, with each team playing each other twice before four playoff matches.

The SA20, South Africa’s new T20 league, which has scheduled games for January 10 to February 11, 2023, will completely overlap with the competition. The Big Bash League from Australia, which begins in December and lasts until February 4, will also be on at that time.

The Bangladesh Premier League is anticipated to take place within the same time period as the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which will begin its 2023 season on February 9.

The International League T20 will take solace in the fact that it has a solid roster of players committed to the tournament, including Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Trent Boult, Alex Hales, Moeen Ali, Wanindu Hasaranga, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, and Sikandar Raza, despite the fact that all of this creates intense competition to draw the best players and also broadcast audiences.

Rapper Badshah is set to perform during the inaugural International League T20 in Dubai:

The big-name rapper Badshah would be right there, ready to light up the night and get the ball moving for what could be an electrifying four weeks of top-notch T20 cricket.

The hugely successful Indian rapper, Badshah, will play before the explosive opening match, which will be revealed in the following days. He is the recipient of numerous music and music-film accolades, including the PTC Punjabi Film Awards and two Nickelodeon Kids Choice’s favorite rap music star awards.

Additionally, Badshah will put pen to paper and compose the official International League T20 Anthem, a move that will excite fans of his genre and keep them interested throughout the League.

When asked about Badshah’s performance at the ILT20 opening ceremony, Emirates Cricket Board General Secretary Mubashshir Usmani said,

“League management is absolutely delighted to have one of India’s biggest performers at the ILT20 opening ceremony. It is very important for us to get off to a blistering start, and Badshah will certainly help enthrall the crowd before the cricketers work their magic on our three (competition) venues.”

“We also extend our sincere thanks to Badshah for producing the ILT20 Anthem. We are eagerly looking forward to sharing this with our cricket-loving community.”

Franchise teams, comprising 84 International and 24 UAE-based players, include Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (Kolkata Knight Riders), Desert Vipers (Lancer Capital), Dubai Capitals (GMR), Gulf Giants (Adani Sportsline), MI Emirates (Reliance Industries), and Sharjah Warriors (Capri Global).
