India allrounder Hardik Pandya, on Wednesday (October 11), celebrated his 30th birthday. He is regarded as one of the best all-rounders in the game at present.
He grabbed the limelight with his performances for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) before making his debut for Team India in 2016. And in no time, he became an integral part of the team across the three formats.
He made his Test debut in 2017 and scored his maiden century in the red-ball format in his third Test. He also has a five-wicket haul in Tests that came in England in 2018.
Unfortunately, he has not played a Test since 2018 due to injuries but is an integral part of the T20I and the ODI teams. He is the vice-captain of the ODI team and has been leading the T20I team since last year although he is yet to be announced as the permanent captain.
