Have To Take A Decision At The Early Stage – Naveen-ul-Haq

In a video shared on his official Instagram handle, Naveen-ul-Haq expressed how challenging it was to decide between pursuing his dream of representing his country and other options that came his way.

I Hope He Does Think Abouut It – Rashid Khan

Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan expressed hope that Naveen might reconsider his decision to retire from ODI cricket. Rashid mentioned that many players have reversed their retirements from intentional cricket.

“I hope he does think about it and get it back – retirement. I have seen so many players do that and hopefully, it does happen for him as well. He could help and do well for Afghanistan in the future in this format and deliver the best for the team,” Rashid said.

Naveen has been named in Afghanistan’s playing XI for the match against host India in their second match of the World Cup at the Arun Jaitely Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday, October 11.
