Suryakumar Yadav, on Monday (October 16), shut down a user with a fitting response on X (formerly Twitter). The right-handed batsman is yet to play any game for Team India in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

Although he spent India’s first three games of the World Cup on the bench, he unexpectedly stole the spotlight in a comical incident. When the camera captured him enjoying a meal while seated in the dugout during the game against Australia, his reaction was nothing short of hilarious. The video of the incident became viral in no time as fans were left in splits.

Suryakumar Yadav himself enjoyed the incident too as he shared the clip on his Instagram story. And recently the user decided to give the right-handed batsman some advice using the same video. After the hard-hitting batsman took to X to post some photos after India’s brilliant win over Pakistan last week, the user posted the same video clip and wrote:

“Sir dugout mein baithke kya khate rehto ho, ground par jaake do chaar 6 maarke aao” (Sir, why do you keep eating while sitting in the dugout, go to the ground and hit few sixes.)

Suryakumar Yadav noticed the reply and decided to come up with a fitting response. The India star shut down the user with his response, writing: “Order mereko nahi Swiggy pe de bhai.” (Give the orders to Swiggy, not me.)

India’s brilliant start:

Meanwhile, Team India have made a solid start to their campaign in the ongoing tournament. The Men in Blue are currently at the top of the points table with three wins from as many games. The Rohit Sharma-led began their campaign with a hard-fought 6-wicket win over Australia when they recovered from 2 for 3 and chased down 200 runs.

In their second game, they chased down 273 runs against Afghanistan in just 35 overs and won the game by 8 wickets. In their third outing, Team India thrashed arch-rivals Pakistan by 7 wickets. Team India will be in action next on Thursday (October 19) when they take on Bangladesh in Pune.
