The IND vs ENG Test series is set to enthrall Indian and English fans. The India vs England Test series commences on Thursday, January 25 with the 1st Test. The venue of the IND vs ENG 1st Test is Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Rohit Sharma will lead Team India in IND vs ENG Test series. Sharma could not drive the team to their first Test victory in South Africa in the previous Test series this month. However, Team India managed to evade defeat too.

Team India lost the opening game against South Africa by a huge margin of an innings and 32 runs. However, they bounced back in the 2nd Test to win by 7 wickets. With the draw, India managed to retain their 2nd spot in the ICC WTC points table.

Team India is short two key members Virat Kohli and Mohammed Shami. Other key Test players like Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, and Mohammed Siraj are part of the squad for the series against England.

Kuldeep Yadav is also part of the India vs England Test series. However, with the presence of spinners like Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel, the left-arm spinner Yadav might not get opportunities in the first two games.

However, since the India vs England Test series comprises 5 matches, Kuldeep might get opportunities in the forthcoming matches. Yadav was part of the Test series in the past but he rarely got a chance to be part of playing 11.

England, led by Ben Stokes, will aim for a comeback on Indian soil. In the ODI World Cup last year in India, the Englishmen arrived with one of their worst-ever show in World Cups. They lost to teams like Afghanistan and Sri Lanka which came as a big upset in the tournament.

However, when it comes to Tests, England is a dominating team in international cricket currently. They dominated Australia in Ashes 2023 despite the 2-2 draw in the series. Now, their strength will be tested on Indian soil, where they have always struggled in past Test campaigns.
