In a massive boost for India National Cricket Team, the 27-year-old right-arm speedster Muralikrishna Prasidh Krishna has made his return to competitive cricket, according to recent reports in PTI.
The fast bowler shined in his comeback match for Mount Joy Cricket Club against Sir Syed Cricketers at the RSI grounds on Monday during the KSCA T20 tournament for G Kasturirangan Memorial Trophy.

Muralikrishna Prasidh Krishna looked good with the ball on his competitive cricket comeback and returned with amazing bowling figures of 4-0-36-4.
He last played for India National Cricket Team during the India tour of Zimbabwe 2022 in August. He was then ruled out of competitive cricket due to a lumbar stress fracture for which he also underwent surgery.
Overall, he has played 14 ODIs for the Men In Blue and has bagged 25 wickets at an average of 23.92, an economy of 5.32, and a strike rate of 26.9.

Prasidh Krishna and Jasprit Bumrah, who is also under rehabilitation at the NCA, recently bowled full throttle against Mumbai in the practice match at the Alur grounds.
A source close to Prasidh Krishna told PTI that the pacer will gain a lot of confidence following his impressive bowling show.
“Prasidh is fit and the day’s performance will give him a lot of confidence. He has been bowling at nets at NCA as well, and he has bowled in a few other match situations as well recently. He was able to bowl his quota of 10 overs,” said a source who has been tracking the bowler’s progress, as quoted by PTI.
Meanwhile, Prasidh Krishna and Jasprit Bumrah have returned to India’s squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Ireland National Cricket Team. Bumrah is also set to lead the side as Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav have been rested.
India’s tour of Ireland consists of a short three-match T20I series. The matches are scheduled to be held at the Malahide in Dublin on August 18, 20 and 23.
