IND vs IRE: Virat Kohli flaunts his 6-pack abs; grabs all the attention despite not playing the warm-up match

Virat Kohli might not have played during India’s 60-run win over Bangladesh in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up match in New York, but he is still ruling the headlines with just his appearance at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.

The Indian batting superstar was rested for their only warm-up game in the T20 World Cup 2024 due to his long journey, as he arrived in New York late Friday night after a 16-hour flight from Mumbai. However, the Indian cricket team managed to dominate the Tigers completely in the match.

However, Kohli didn’t play in the India versus Bangladesh warm-up match, but he was seen warming up and had a net session at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

In the viral video and clips across the social media platforms, Kohli was seen engaging with the Bangladesh players and doing warm-ups along with Shubman Gill. He was also seen watching the warm-up game.

The former Indian skipper also waved at the fans, who were eager to get a glimpse of one of the world’s best beaters. However, the fans couldn’t see Kohli swirling the bat at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, but he left his fans in awe with his sizzling fitness. 

The dashing right-hander caught the attention of fans both at the stadium and on social media with his six-pack abs that he was seen casually checking out while returning back to the pavilion, and the clip of the moment is going crazily viral on social media, leaving his fans in awe for him yet again.

Reacting to the viral post, a user expressed his love for Kohli in a comment box by saying, “Stop, it's already 40 degrees."  While a user called him sexy, another user called his wife, Anushka Sharma, lucky. On the other hand, some users called Kohli hot while expressing emotions with emoticons in the comment section.

Notably, Kohli received the ICC ODI Player of the Year award and was named in the ICC Men’s ODI Team of the Year 2023 in New York. The Orange Cap winner of the IPL 2024 made the last entry into the USA, with all the T20 World Cup-bound players and staff arriving last week.

Speaking about the warm-up game, India posted a competitive total of 182/5 on the board, thanks to Rishabh Pant's fiery fifty and Hardik Pandya’s brilliant 40* against Bangladesh.

Then, Arshdeep Singh and Shivam Dube sealed the game by each taking two wickets, along with collective efforts from others. Mahmudullah was the top scorer for Bangladesh with 40 runs from 28 balls in New York.

The Men in Blue will kick off their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Ireland on June 5 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, followed by a mega clash against arch-rivals Pakistan at the same venue on June 9.
