Jasprit Bumrah has been out of action since September 2022 due to a back injury and was last seen in action during the T20I series against Australia. He missed the T20 World Cup 2022 as well and was expected to make a comeback through the Sri Lanka series at the start of 2023.
Jasprit Bumrah, however, complained of back stiffness and was ruled out of the action for a few months. He recently underwent back surgery in New Zealand and has been training hard at the NCA to make a comeback.
