IND vs IRE: Watch: Prasidh Krishna Back As He Outfoxes Batsman And Destroys Stumps With Stunning Delivery

Prasidh Krishna seems to have rediscovered his best form just ahead of making his much-awaited return to international cricket. The highly-rated pacer is a part of India’s squad for the upcoming three-match series against Ireland later this month.

Prasidh Krishna has not played an international game since the ODI against Zimbabwe on August 20 last year as he was sidelined with a lumbar stress fracture. He was initially working towards a full recovery before the last Ranji Trophy knockouts but the injury was more serious than what was expected.

Later, it was feared that he might have to undergo surgery and would spend a good amount of time on the sidelines. However, he did not need surgery and has fully recovered after extensive rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Prasidh Krishna’s brilliant delivery:

Ahead of his much-awaited return for Team India, Prasidh Krishna looked in fine form while bowling for Mysuru Warriors against Hubli Tigers on Sunday (August 13) in the ongoing Maharaja T20 Trophy. It was also his first competitive game since August last year.

Prasidh Krishna bowled only two overs in the game that was curtailed by rain but it was enough for him to make a big impression. He opened the bowling for the Warriors and made an instant impact. After bowling two dot deliveries, he castled Luvnith Sisodia with a stunning delivery. The ball landed on the off and middle-stump line before swinging back in at the last moment to outfox the opener.

Prasidh Krishna bowled two overs in the game and conceded 13 runs while picking up 1 wicket. Talking about the game, the Hubli Tigers won the game by nine wickets (VJD) after rain brought a premature end to the contest in Bengaluru.

Prasidh Krishna will be looking to make an impressive return in international cricket too when he accompanies Team India to Ireland soon. India will play three T20Is against Ireland from August 18.
