IND vs IRE: Watch - Sanju Samson Destroys Josh Little With Stunning Batting Show In 2nd T20I

India National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson gave a tough time to the Ireland National Cricket Team premier left-arm pacer Josh Little in the second T20I of the three-match series at the Malahide, Dublin on Sunday, August 20.

The 28-year-old Samson looked at his best in the second T20I and he played some beautiful-looking strokes. He batted with his natural aggressive intent and wasn’t troubled by the Irish bowlers.

Sanju Samson came to bat after India lost Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tilak Varma. He made sure his side doesn’t lose any more early wickets and was involved in a crucial partnership with the vice-captain Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Sanju Samson stitched together brilliant 71 runs in just 49 deliveries with Ruturaj Gaikwad to bail India out of trouble. Also, Sanju Samson went berserk against the left-arm seamer Josh Little in the 11th over.

On the first ball, Samson hit a four over extra cover with splendid timing and followed it up with two more fours to frustrate the pacer. He was not done yet as after playing a dot on the fourth delivery he smoked the pacer for a six with a brilliant pull shot on the next ball. Overall, the pacer was hit for 18 runs in the over. Also, Sanju finished his innings at a score of 40 off 26 balls. He also hit 5 fours and 1 six.

India posted a great total of 185/5 on the board after good batting performances from Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson, Rinku Singh, and Shivam Dube.

Former India wicketkeeper-batter and selector, Saba Karim, was highly impressed with the batting performances of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Samson, and Rinku Singh and he took to X to praise the batters.
