Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar issued a massive warning to the Indian team ahead of the upcoming Super Four clash between the two teams in the ongoing Asia Cup. Shoaib Akhtar further mentioned that the weather was fine in Colombo on Saturday.
The Rohit Sharma-led team faced the Babar Azam-led team in the group stage match of the tournament in Pallekele last week. However, the match was abandoned due to the rain. India scored 266 runs after opting to bat first, but the second innings didn’t happen.

ACC Keeps Reserve Day For Only India-Pakistan Clash
The Rohit Sharma-led team is set to face off against the Babar Azam-led team in their first Super Four stage match at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, September 10. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) added a reserve day for the high-voltage match due to the rain prediction.
“A reserve day has been incorporated for the Super11 Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 match between India vs Pakistan scheduled to take place on 10th September 2023 at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo,” the ACC said in an official statement.
“If adverse weather suspends play during the India vs Pakistan game, the match will continue on 11th September 2023 from the point it was suspended. In such an eventuality, ticket-holders are advised to hold on to their match tickets which will remain valid and will be utilised for the reserve day,” it added.
