Arch-rivals India and Pakistan are taking on each other in the 19th game of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The game is taking place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bowl first. The conditions in New York have suited pacers so far and Pakistan would be looking to make the most of it. All the games that have been played here have been low-scoring affairs and India will have their task cut out while batting first.

The toss for the game was delayed due to rain. And as the players from both teams were on the field to prepare for the game, former West Indies Chris Gayle made a special appearance. The Universe Boss caught everyone's attention with his customized suit for the big occasion.

One half of his suit had the colors of the Indian flag while the other side had the Pakistan flag's green color. He was also seen taking autographs of some star players on his suit. The likes of Virat Kohli, Babar Azam, and Rohit Sharma were seen signing on his suit.

India, Pakistan eye crucial win:

The game is a crucial win for both teams and can very well decide their fate in the tournament. Pakistan began their campaign with a loss against the USA and just cannot afford any more slip-ups. A loss against India today has the potential to end their campaign in the T20 World Cup at the group stage.

On the other hand, India began their campaign with an impressive 8-wicket win over Ireland. India had won the game at the same venue and will be looking to capitalize on their familiarity of the conditions. A win against Pakistan will put India in a good place for a spot in the Super 8s stage while a loss could make things very complicated for them.
