IND vs PAK: Curtly Ambrose Speaks On India vs Pakistan Clash, Says "It Is One Of The Best Cricket Games..."

Former West Indies pacer Curtly Ambrose spoke on the India vs. Pakistan clash and said that it is one of the best cricket games one can watch as a fan.

In the upcoming days, Rohit Sharma-led India will lock horns against Pakistan in two different tournaments. First, they will meet in the Asia Cup 2023, and then again in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

In the Asia Cup 2023, the Men in Blue will lock horns against Babar Azam’s Pakistan on Saturday (September 2nd) at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka.

Pakistan were supposed to host the Asia Cup 2023 alone, however, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to visit Pakistan since the two neighboring nations are having ongoing political turmoil, as a result, the Men in Blue will play all of their matches in Sri Lanka.

In the ODI World Cup 2023, Rohit Sharma’s side will take on Men in Green on October 14th at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The extravaganza tournament will begin from October 5th and the first match will be between England and New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

In the last few months, the Men in Blue were going through injury problems that affected their performance. However, all the injured players – Jasprit Bumrah, Shreyas Iyer, and KL Rahul – have made a return to the squad which gives a huge relief to the team management.

While speaking to RevSportz, Ambrose was asked about his thoughts on the high-voltage match. The former Caribbean pacer replied by praising both sides and said that both teams have good fast bowlers.

The 59-year-old added that after the return of Jasprit Bumrah, the ODI World Cup 2023 hosts have got their strength back and that it will be going to exciting to watch the two top teams play.

“It is one of the best cricket games you can watch as a fan. Two very good sides with very good fast bowlers. As a fast bowler, I can’t emphasize the importance of fast bowlers more. Both these teams have many in their ranks. And with Bumrah back, India has got their strength back. It should be a fantastic clash for the fans to watch. And in India, every seat will be full, which will make it a real spectacle,” Ambrose said.

The last time India faced Pakistan was in the T20 World Cup 2022 on October 23rd when the Men in Blue won the match by four wickets after Virat Kohli played one of the greatest T20 knocks of all-time.
