He also opened up about the passionate support from fans from India and Pakistan and revealed the big difference between them.

The former Indian World Cup winner also expressed his excitement about watching the India versus Pakistan game live from the stadium for the first time. The Men in Blue will face the Men in Green in the T20 World Cup 2024 on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

The legendary all-rounder further highlighted India's recent dominance over Pakistan in T20Is, and he expressed hope that Rohit Sharma and his team would continue their winning streak in the upcoming much-awaited encounter as well.

Acknowledging the intense emotions among the fans and players of both sides, Yuvraj stressed the importance of maintaining focus on the game, saying whoever manages to control their emotions better on the day of the match will most probably win the T20 World Cup 2024 game in New York.

Looking ahead to the IND vs PAK match, Yuvraj admitted that he wouldn't feel nervous watching the high-octane clash this time, as he would just be experiencing the electric atmosphere of the match at the venue as a spectator. He also pointed out a difference in fans’ support in IND vs PAK matches.

As quoted by PTI, Yuvraj Singh said at the opening of Fan Park at the Oculus Trade Centre in New York: “Well, it’s a game of emotion. If we win, we’ll go crazy. If we lose, we’ll go crazy. But the thing is, if we win, they will go crazy with us. If we lose, they will go crazy with us. That’s the difference.”

The former Indian legend further said of the upcoming IND vs PAK clash, “But I think, whether it’s India, Pakistan, or any other game, I’m sure the guys are going 100%. It’s just that I always feel that the team who control their emotion on that day better and focus on the match situation, they will win the game.

In the last couple of years, we’ve had a better record than Pakistan. And hopefully, we can continue that. I think I would not be that nervous going into India-Pakistan game watching it. I’ve watched on TV, but never been to the ground watching an India-Pakistan match. This will be first time.”
