The Indian team will face the Pakistan team in a highly anticipated match in the ICC World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday, October 14. Indian fans gathered outside the stadium in Ahmedabad to show unwavering support for the Men in Blue.
The India-Pakistan clash is arguably one of the biggest events in cricket, and it’s expected to break records for viewership in the history of the sport. The game between neighboring nations is anticipated to be played in front of a crowd of 130,000 in Ahmedabad.
Fans Reach At Narendra Modi Stadium Ahead Of India-Pakistan Clash
The stadium was often less than 50% full at the start and only filled up around 4-5 p.m. in previous India matches. However, fans gathered at the stadium before the scheduled time. Many supporters wore Indian team jerseys and displayed the national tricolor.
Fans queued outside in the early hours of the morning and created an electric atmosphere at the stadium. Arijit Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Neha Kakkar, and Shankar Mahadevan will perform a special program at 12:30 p.m., as confirmed by BCCI.
In a video shared by ANI on the social media handle X (formerly known as Twitter), Rekha and Vansh shared their excitement for the India-Pakistan match. They emphasized their role as the “12th man” and the significance of the match.
“We are all excited. I think Rohit and Virat will do really well today. We are the 12th man cheering for India!” Rekha said.
“It cannot get anything bigger and better than this! We will not spare them; the streak will continue. Zero is the number that will not change for Pakistan!” Vansh said.
“I came from Mumbai for this match with friends. I could not sleep last night. India will match the win easily,” Abhishek said.

India and Pakistan have impressive starts in the 2023 World Cup, as they are both undefeated in their first two games. India is in third place in the 10-team table, while Babar Azam–led team is in fourth. The winner of this match will improve their playoff prospects.
