Indian Cricket Team players are currently undergoing a camp in Bengaluru ahead of the Asia Cup 2023. Premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who captained the team in Ireland, has joined the main team and has been bowling in full flow in the training sessions, which in turn is a good sign for the team.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) gave glimpses of the Indian team during the camp. The young and the senior players were putting in the hard yards and were leaving no stone unturned to get themselves in the groove for the tournament.

But Jasprit Bumrah caught the attention of many with his bowling in the nets. The pacer was seen bowling with full flow at the Indian batters in particular Shubman Gill. The fast bowler was out for 11 months due to injury and made a comeback in the three-match T20I series against Ireland.

Apart from Jasprit Bumrah bowling with full flow in the nets, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Kuldeep Yadav were seen bowling in a flow. From the batter’s perspective, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer along with Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma were seen hitting the balls.

Captain Rohit Sharma was also seen interacting with head coach Rahul Dravid. While Virat Kohli was seen taking on short balls from Mohammed Siraj.

IND vs PAK: KL Rahul ruled out of the games against Pakistan and Nepal

Indian keeper-batter KL Rahul too was seen putting in hard yards in the training. The right-hander kept wickets as well. But he has been ruled out of the first two games of India in Asia Cup 2023 against Pakistan and Nepal. The development was confirmed by head coach Rahul Dravid.

KL Rahul was amongst the injured players as he suffered an injury during the IPL 2023. But after that, he underwent surgery and attained his full fitness. However, to his fortune, he suffered a fresh niggle just ahead of the squad announcement. The keeper-batter is expected to return to the team after the first two games and it is likely that Ishan Kishan will be taking up his place.
