India pacer Mohammed Siraj was at his furious best with the ball in the game against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024. The match between the two arch-rivals took place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. 

After India got bundled out for just 119 runs, Indian pacers kept things tight with the ball in the game against Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2024. They bowled terrific lines and lengths and made run-scoring tough for the Babar Azam-led side. 

Mohammed Siraj in particular bowled exceptionally well with the ball in the first few overs and put the pressure on the opposition. Although he didn’t get a wicket in his first three overs, he made sure he kept things tight with the ball for his team in the high-pressure game. 

Mohammed Siraj during his first spell was also involved in a sort of heated moment with Mohammad Rizwan. It was during the last ball of the second over when the fast bowler bowled a full delivery to which the batter pushed it back to the bowler. 

Mohammed Siraj caught the ball and had a shy at the stumps as Mohammad Rizwan was out of the crease but the hard throw from the pacer hit the Pakistan keeper-batter on the hand and went to deflect to fine leg. The batter looked in immense pain as he got hurt. 

What caught the attention of many was after Mohammed Siraj hit Mohammed Rizwan, who looked in pain, the pacer went immediately to the batter and went on to apologize. The gesture also invited huge appreciation from the crowd at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

Mohammed Siraj had a decent outing with the ball for India in the ongoing game against Pakistan. He bowled 4 over and gave away just 19 runs. 

Mohammad Rizwan plays a fighting knock for Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2024 

Mohammad Rizwan was the shining light for Pakistan in the ongoing game against India at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. The keeper-batter held the fort for his team while the wickets kept tumbling at the other end. 

Mohammad Rizwan played a vital innings for his team and till the time he was at the crease, Pakistan looked favourites to win the game. However, his stay at the crease was cut short by the brilliance of Jasprit Bumrah with the ball as he produced a peach to dismiss the batter. 

Jasprit Bumrah bowled a length ball that was slanted in. The ball stayed low and went under the bat of Mohammad Rizwan, who swiped across the line. The ball went on to hit off and middle stump to send the keeper-batter packing. He managed 31 runs off 44 balls with help of 1 four and 1 six.
