IND vs PAK: WATCH - Shaheen Afridi Rattles Rohit Sharma's Stumps With A Sensational Inswinger

Rohit Sharma once again has been undone by the brilliance of Shaheen Afridi in the ongoing game of the Asia Cup 2023 between India and Pakistan. The Indian captain looked clueless against the fiery inswinger of the left-arm seamer. 

Rohit Sharma looked quite confident as the game kickstarted. The Indian captain blocked the ball pretty well and also played some crisp shots. But the rain break saw a lapse in concentration as he was back in the hut after looking good. 

It’s fair to say that Shaheen Afridi set him staggering well and the ball on which he dismissed Rohit Sharma was an absolute snorter. Most of the batters would’ve perished to that delivery as such was the caliber of the ball that got the Indian captain out. 

Shaheen Afridi bowled two outswingers and then brought on back in. He bowled a length delivery around off and the ball nipped in sharply to beat Rohit Sharma’s defence. The ball went between the bat and the pad to toss up the off stump and send the Indian skipper packing.

Rohit Sharma scored 11 runs off 22 balls. He managed to hit 2 boundaries but couldn’t cash on the start that he got. The Indian captain notably has had his issues against the left-arm seamers as he has been failing to negate the swing. 

IND vs PAK: India in big trouble as Virat Kohli falls too after Rohit Sharma 

After the wicket of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli walked in and played a confident cover drive. However, Shaheen Afridi had better off him as well as he removed him in the very next over he bowled. 

Shaheen Afridi bowled a length delivery outside off to which Virat Kohli tried to punch through the off-side. But he ended up getting an inside edge that deflected to hit the stumps.
