The reserve day of the India vs Pakistan game in the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup 2023 has been all about KL Rahul so far. The swashbuckling batter has taken spectators by storm as he has batted magnificently well to put the team in a dominating position.
KL Rahul kickstarted the day on the score of 17 runs and he came out all guns blazing. He smashed Pakistan bowlers all over the park and made a mockery of the opposition bowling lineup, that has been a real threat in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 so far.
KL Rahul played blistering strokes but his one shot took even captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli by surprise. The keeper-batter hit Shadab Khan for six over long-on and it’s fair to say that it was arguably one of the best shots of the day.
Shadab Khan bowled tossed up delivery around off to which KL Rahul came down the track and displayed a staggering wrist work to whip it over the deep mid-wicket for a big six. As he hit bit hit, Rohit Sharma in the dressing room awe-stricken by the hit whereas Virat Kohli also looked surprised.
