Hope Kohli Will Play At Least 4 Years – Ravi Shastri
“Virat Kohli kept Test cricket going & there are very few Ambassadors of Tests like Virat Kohli in the World Cricket. I hope Virat Kohli will play at least 4 years. Because he is extremely fit and desire and passion still so much there in him. And the World wants to see him on the field more,” Shastri further added.
The 35-year-old was last seen in action during the recently concluded World Cup. The right-handed batter emerged as the leading run-scorer of the tournament, amassing 765 runs in 11 matches with an average of 95.62. He hit three centuries and six half-centuries.
Kohli To Return To Indian Squad During Test Series
Kohli decided to take a break from white-ball games during India’s South Africa tour, citing his hectic schedule in recent months. The former skipper is scheduled to rejoin the Indian squad for the two-match Test series, commencing on December 26 in Centurion.
