Dhananjaya De Silva finally managed to prove his worth in the side with an excellent knock in the second T20 international and won the game for his side by staying till the end. It was a well-paced innings with just one four and one six in his whole innings of 40 runs off just 34 balls.

It was a low scoring chase and Sri Lanka needed a set batsman till the end to take them home. At one stage, India pulled things tight and it was looking like a huge task for Sri Lanka to recover. Series Hanging In Balance

India will miss the services of more than 9 players who have been isolated with Covid-19 protocols for the 3rd T20 international as well. This will mean that Sri Lanka have the best chance of winning the series against the Indian side who will be playing with an inexperienced side.
