An intense clash was played between India and Sri Lanka in the Super Four game of the Asia Cup 2023 at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. After posting just a total of 213 runs on the board, Rohit Sharma’s men kept things tight and tried every possible thing to keep the game in their court.

The crowd being in favor of the Sri Lanka team had pumped up Indian players and they appealed for every possible thing. However, they got their one call wrong and what was noticeable was keeper KL Rahul wasn’t in favor of taking a review. But captain Rohit Sharma was keen to take DRS.

It happened during the third ball of the 12th over when Kuldeep Yadav bowled a tossed-up delivery on off stump. Charith Asalanka tried to defend it but the ball spun away to beat the outside edge. The ball went towards Rohit Sharma in slips and he was confident that there’s a nick.

Kuldeep Yadav too was convinced too along with the captain. But KL Rahul wasn’t amazed and urged his skipper that there was nothing. Rohit Sharma however, went with his gut and opted for DRS. He was quite animated with his appeal.

The ultraedge showed that there was no spike and after that Rohit Sharma was disappointed with himself. He was left embarrassed after that and as the replays were shown on the big screen, he gave a cheeky smile. Watch Here:
