IND vs SL: "Well Paid Jay Shah" - Pakistan Fans Trend Asia Cup Fixed After India's Dominant Win Over Sri Lanka

India winning the Asia Cup 2023 with a dominant performance against Sri Lanka at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo didn’t go well with Pakistani fans. The cricket lovers from the country lashed out at the Indian team and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah as they accused them of match-fixing. 

India made a mockery of Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup 2023. The final was over in just a flash as such was the high-class bowling the Men in Blue displayed. The Dasun Shanaka-led side opted to bat first and it was a bizarre outing for them with the bat. 

Sri Lanka’s wickets fell like a pack of cards as Mohammed Siraj wreaked havoc across their batting lineup and picked a six-wicket haul in no time. Jasprit Bumrah began the proceedings as he removed Kusal Perera in the first over of the game and then it was all about Siraj, who was completely unplayable today. 

Hardik Pandya too chipped in as he picked three wickets that saw India bundling out for just 50 runs. With the bat then, skipper Rohit Sharma sacrificed his batting position and promoted Ishan Kishan up the order. He partnered with Shubman Gill and the duo easily chased the target. 

Ishan Kishan (23*) and Shubman Gill (27*) then batted staggering well and added 51 runs for the opening partnership and won the game for their inside 7 overs to lift their 8th Asia Cup title. 

IND vs SL: Pakistan Fans Accuse India of match-fixing after dominant win over Sri Lanka 

As India registered a dominant win over Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan Fans on X didn’t like it. They lashed out at the BCCI and termed that they fixed the game. They also criticized ACC Secretary Jay Shah. Here are some of the reactions after the Indian Cricket Team’s win:
