Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja responded to Kapil Dev’s comments about the current players, highlighting that such questions arise only when India lose a game. Ravindra Jadeja stated that the players will give everything to help India whenever they get the opportunity.
Kapil Dev made the headlines with his remark on the Indian players in an interview with The Week magazine. The former all-rounder said that the Indian players have become arrogant with too much money involved in the game, adding that they seem to think they know everything.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the third ODI against the West Indies, Ravindra Jadeja opened up about Kapil Dev’s criticism of Indian players, stating that the former players have the right to share their opinions.
“I don’t know when he has said this. I don’t search these things on social media. See everyone has their own opinion. Ex-player have full right to share his opinion, but I don’t think there is not any arrogance in this team,” Jadeja told reporters.
There Is No Personal Agenda – Ravindra Jadeja
The 34-year-old emphasized the team’s unity and focus on representing the national cricket team without having any personal agenda.
“Everyone is enjoying their cricket and everyone are hardworking. No one has taken anything for granted. They are giving their 100 per cent,” he added.
“Such comments generally come when Indian team lost a match. This is a good bunch of boys, this is a good group. We are representing India and that is our main aim, there is no personal agenda,” he further stated.
The Men in Blue lost to the West Indies by six wickets in the second ODI of the three-match series in Barbados. Senior players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who were rested for the last ODI, are expected to return to the squad for the series decider in Trinidad on August 1.
