The star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja grabbed a terrific jumping catch to help his teammate Mukesh Kumar bag his maiden wicket in One Day International (ODI) cricket.

The Bengal pacer Mukesh Kumar is having a great month as he recently made his Test debut against West Indies and impressed many with his brilliant pace bowling. Also, he was handed the debut cap in the first ODI against West Indies.

The first ODI of the three-match series between the Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team and the Shai Hope-led West Indies National Cricket Team is being held at the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados on July 27, 2023.

Meanwhile, Mukesh got his maiden ODI wicket on the fifth ball of the 8th over. He cleaned up the West Indies batter Alick Athanaze for 22 runs in the match.

The pacer bowled a good length ball outside off-stump and Athanaze went down the track to smash it but failed to make a good connection with the ball. He hit it flat towards the backward point where Jadeja timed his jump to perfection to grab a stunning catch. Mukesh was pumped after getting the wicket and he celebrated it with a big roar.

At the time of writing, West Indies are in a miserable position in the match as they have lost 9 batters for just 114 runs. Spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav have made the life of the batters hard and they have managed to bag three wickets each.
