In a huge boost to India National Cricket Team in the World Cup year, the 28-year-old batter Shreyas Iyer has returned to batting in the nets after recovering from his back injury.

Shreyas Iyer last played for India in the final Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, he was unable to bat for India in that game due to his lower-back injury.
