Young Indian batter Tilak Varma can do nothing wrong in the ongoing T20I series against West Indies. The Southpaw has been impressing everyone with his batting but even more than that has been his brilliant fielding, with another great effort coming in 4th game.

Tilak Varma, who has taken some magnificent catches in this series, grabbed the eyeball of many with another staggering catch in the ongoing 4th game in Florida. It’s fair to say that his effort saved India 10-15 runs extra as it saw Shimron Hetmyer packing.

Shimron Hetmyer was going berserk and was looking to take his team to the big total. During the last over of Arshdeep Singh, the batter tried to dispatch the short ball, that was wide. He smashed it flat towards the long on and it seemed that the ball wouldn’t carry to the fielder.

But Tilak Varma made good ground and timed his dive to perfection and plucked the catch with soft hands. He showed great presence of mind as he plucked it just over the ground to complete it cleanly and send the batter packing for 61 runs.

Here’s the video of Tilak Varma’s catch:

IND vs WI: West Indies post a total of 178 runs in 4th T20I

Opting to bat West Indies lost early wickets and were tumbling at 57/4 with Nicholas Pooran, Brandon King, Rovman Powell, and Kyle Mayers back in the hut. But Shai Hope played a decent knock of 45 runs off 29 balls before Shimron Hetmyer regained his touch and smashed Indian bowlers all over the park.

Hetmyer played a magnificent knock of 61 runs that powered West Indies to a fighting total of 178 runs. For the visitors, Arshdeep Singh picked three wickets whereas Kuldeep Yadav picked two wickets as well. Apart from these two Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, and Mukesh Kumar also chipped in.
