India decided to rest Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the second ODI against West Indies at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados to experiment few things. But that didn’t work out as India suffered a disappointing 6-wicket loss to see the series getting levelled.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were in sitting in the dugout and made sure that they enjoy themselves despite not playing. The duo were sitting together along with leg-spinner Yuzvendr Chahal. They were mocking the bowler and making fun of him.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who possesses a goofy nature, was seen landing quite a few punches to Yuzvendra Chahal on his back. Virat Kohli, who was sitting right next to the leg-spinner, couldn’t control his laughter and was seen instructing something to Rohit, probably to hit him more. The video went viral on the internet in no time and invited quite a funny meme.

Here’s the video:

Apart from this both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were quite active while sitting on the bench. Kohli even carried drinks for the team whereas Rohit was seen keenly observing the game, fair to say to get the answers they have to the questions that have been bothering them.

IND vs WI: India suffers a disappointing 6-wicket loss to West Indies in second ODI

The absence of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma didn’t go well with the Indian team under Hardik Pandya as they looked clueless with the bat. Opting to bat, Ishan Kishan (55) and Shubman Gill (34) gave a steady start to the team but after their wickets, India suffered a major collapse. Axar Patel, who came to bat at No.4 scored just 1 run before Hardik Pandya was dismissed for 7 runs.

It was expected that Sanju Samson will take the team out of trouble but he too perished early for just 9 runs as India found themselves tottering at 113/5. Suryakumar Yadav (24) along with Ravindra Jadeja (10) tried to bail the side out of trouble but they too fell early as they were bundled out for just 181 runs.

With the ball India bowled decently and picked four wickets as well but the target wasn’t enough as West Indies skipper Shai Hope slammed a magnificent unbeaten half-century to take his team home.
