India A pull off biggest run-chase in history against Australia A as KL Rahul, Sai Sudharsan shine

The India A team chased the record total of 412, the most by any A team in world cricket. Batter KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan led the India A chase with commanding hundreds.
India A are currently playing in the two-match Test series against Australia A. India A marked the return of players KL Rahul, Sai Sudharsan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Dhruv Jurel, who all returned to the playing XI and were preparing for the upcoming series against the West Indies.
The Australian A side started off with a commanding first inning, as they scored 420 runs. India A were bowled out for 194 runs, handing the visiting Aussies a huge lead. Now they went on to score 185 more runs, setting a huge target of 412 in front of the India A side.

India A chased down a huge target of 412 runs; as a result of India A has now chased the biggest total in the history of multi-day first-class games. The record chase took place in Lucknow when India A also went on to win the series 1-0 after the first match was drawn between the two sides.
Resuming with 169 for 2 on the final day of the game, India A needed another huge 243 runs for victory. Australia A broke through early on the Day, as they ended nightwatchman Manav Suthar's brief resistance, which lasted for 29 balls.
The wicket brought Rahul and Sudharsan back together at the crease after the former had retired hurt on the previous day after sharing a 65-run stand on Day 3.

KL Rahul leads the way for India A with a masterclass innings of 176*
KL Rahul, who had scored a stunning 70+ in the second innings of the game, got retired out yesterday after he reportedly experienced a fever. His move out of the ground was cited as a precautionary measure ahead of the crucial West Indies series.
Both batters eased, and Sudharsan quickly got off to his half-century, while Sudharsan began to unleash a few big shots as he began to catch up with the other Indian batter who was racing towards a ton. Soon after Lunch, Rahul too reached the three-figure mark. Just within 30 minutes, Sudharsan too scored a stunning century.
After Sudharsan's dismissal, India still needed 145 runs. Dhruv Jurel, the Indian wicket-keeper, came in and eased the pressure on the set batter, KL Rahul. He went on to contribute to a 115-run stand in less than 19 overs. Rahul moved quickly onto 150's and his marathon knock continued till the run-chase was completed with 16 fours and four sixes.
Sai Sudharsan and Dhruv Jurel play magnificent innings
After Sai Sudharsan came in to bat at no. 3, he was India's best batter in the series. Having made a convincing half-century in the first game, he further went on to dominate in the second game as well.
With a well-made 75 in the first innings, Sudharsan contributed immensely to the chase with a stunning century. He scored 100 runs off just 172 balls. The stand-in skipper, Dhruv Jurel, who went on to replace Shreyas Iyer in the role, also played a captain's knock of 56 runs to chase the record total for India A.
