India Test, ODI, T20 squads after BCCI Central Contracts List Announcement

34 players have received the annual contracts for the ongoing 2024-25 season, the BCCI announced on Monday. It is more than the number of players who earned the central contracts in the last season.
Captain Rohit Sharma, his predecessor Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, and Jasprit Bumrah are in the top category, Grade A+. Out of these four players, only Bumrah plays in all three formats, while the other three have retired from T20Is but are regular in the Test and ODI teams.
BCCI Central Contracts List Announced
The BCCI has handed the Grade A contract to six players - Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, and Hardik Pandya, while Grade B contracts have been given to 5 players - Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Shreyas Iyer, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
On the other hand, 19 players have received the Grade C contracts - Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shivam Dube, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Rajat Patidar, Dhruv Jurel, Sarafraz Khan, Nitish Reddy, Ishan Kishan, Abhishek Sharma, Akash Deep, Varun Chakaravarthy and Harshit Rana.
Out of the 34 players, seven players have received the central contracts for the first time, while four players have lost their contracts.
