India U19 squad for Asia Cup 2024 announced, Mohd. Amaan named captain

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squad of the India U19 National Cricket Team for the upcoming Men's U19 Asia Cup 2024. Mohammad Amaan will be captaining the team in the tournament while Kiran Chomale will be the vice-captain.
Young Mumbai batter Ayush Mhatre has also been named in the team. He made himself a name because of his recent performances in the ongoing domestic season. He made his debut for the team in the Irani Cup and since then hasn't looked back.
BCCI has also included two wicket-keeper batters in the team
Apart from him, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been included in the team. The U19 team has also included two wicket-keeper batters in the team. Harvansh Singh Pangalia and Anurag Kawde will be performing the role of the team in the Men's U19 Asia Cup 2024.
Apart from the main squad, BCCI also has named five reserves for the tournament in Sahil Parakh, Naman Pushpak, Anmoljeet Singh, Pranav Raghavendra, and D Dipesh.

The Boys in Blue are the most successful team in the U19 Asia Cup. The Boys in Blue have won the tournament record 8 times out of the 10 editions and would want to emulate the same this time around too. The upcoming edition of the tournament will be played in a 50-over format.
India is placed in Group A alongside Pakistan U19, Japan U19, and hosts UAE U19
The Boys in Blue is placed in Group A alongside Pakistan U19, Japan U19, and hosts UAE U19. Group B, on the other hand, comprises Afghanistan U19, Bangladesh U19, Nepal U19, and Sri Lanka U19.
The Mohammad Amaan-led side will begin their against Pakistan U19 on 30th November in Dubai. After that, they will be facing Japan U19 and UAE U19 on 2nd November and 4th November, respectively, in Sharjah.
