Mohsin Naqvi is likely to skip the presentation ceremony after the 2026 Women's Asia Cup Final match. Instead of Naqvi, ACC vice-president Khalid Zarooni could be better suited to hand the trophy to the team.

According to an 'X' post shared by Rohit Juglan, a RevSportz journalist, Mohsin Naqvi is currently not in Dubai, and there is no update on whether he will reach Dubai soon for the match. So, as Naqvi is not in town, Khalid Zarooni could attend the trophy-giving ceremony.
"Most likely, Vice President ACC Mr. Khalid Zarooni will be there for the Asia Cup trophy-giving ceremony - Mohsin Naqvi not in Dubai as of now (most likely he won't be there)," the 'X' post reads.

Last year, after winning the Asia Cup, the Men's India national cricket team refused to accept the trophy from the ACC head Mohsin Naqvi. It was a stand-point of the Indian cricket team because of political tension with Pakistan. As the Indian cricket team did not accept the trophy from Naqvi's hands, he left the venue along with the trophy. Team India has yet to get the trophy. That night, the Men in Blue celebrated their moment without the title in their hands.
The Indian cricket teams, both men's and women's, are keeping their distance from the Pakistan cricket teams. Thus, ahead of the Women's Asia Cup final tonight, speculations were running among the cricket fans on whether India's women's cricket team would accept the trophy from the ACC chied Mohsin Naqvi's hands, who is also the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
